Every Move She Makes
Harper Torch
1999
San Francisco Homicide Inspector Kate Gillespie is assigned a case involving brutally slashed victims. Her partner, Scolari, is a suspect and Internal Affairs officer cramps her style as he trails along during the investigation. Kate seems to be the only one who believes in her partner's innocence, a belief which comes near being shaken several times at least.
This realistic thriller will keep you turning pages. The main character is well-drawn and well-supported by the author. I've read three of her books in this series and hope to see more.
